When I was small as a child living in Bridgeport and Brooklyn I spent as much time as they would allow, asking questions of my Grandmas about how Jewish customs came to be and what their families, childhoods and holidays were like. Happily for me, these two ladies told wonderful "Grandma Stories" as did my mother, when my son was small. And now it is my turn to pass on those colorful memo ries and history adding my own for my grandchildren.
