From Islamabad, Pakistan, where she was born to loving parents alongside two older siblings, Uzma Baig's formative years were shaped by the spirited diversity of Queens, New York. Her educational journey, which began in Astoria schools, culminated in a business degree from Queens College (CUNY), paving the way for a thriving career in downtown New York. Life took a meaningful turn when Uzma paused her career to start a family in Virginia. The journey into motherhood inspired Uzma to explore new horizons. She earned her Master's degree in School Counseling from Virginia Tech, channeling her energy into helping youth gain self-awareness and mindfulness. Over the years, Uzma has guided many children, adults, and families through counseling and coaching. Uzma is a devoted wife and mother to three wonderful children. She combines her professional expertise with personal experience to bridge the gap in parenting best practices. This book emerges from her desire to support children from a unique lens: from the time they are in their mother's womb. She crafts not just a visual guide, but a treasured keepsake that will help mothers to recognize the profound impact of their own mental and physical health on their children's well-being beyond the pregnancy phase.
