Judy-isms is a heart-felt series of articles and poems about a woman growing up to become a mother, a wife, and a good friend despite adverse circumstances. Her personal stories are both honest and relatable. Twenty years of writing has given the author insight on mental illness, addiction, suicide, sitcoms, Facebook, and Judaism to share.
Her collection is an inspiring guide to living life to the fullest. Her "isms" will make you want to both laugh and cry in deep emotional ways. Anyone who has ever been a mom, struggled with relationships, and has had personal demons will be touched by her soulful reflections.
Judy Kroll is a middle-aged wife, mother and former high school English teacher. She holds an undergraduate degree from Temple University in English and received her master's degree in secondary education from Arcadia University. Despite being told that she would never be able to lead a "normal life," she has created stability.
She is happily married and lives in the suburbs with her husband and son. She loves classic rock and live music (especially Bruce Springsteen). She is not afraid to try new things and she has recently taken up skiing, guitar playing and stand-up comedy, in addition to bicycling. It has been her life-long dream to become a published author. Judy Kroll is a modern-day Erma Bombeck.
