Author Bio

Shayna Feldman Barksdale is the creator and owner of Austin Therapy for Girls. Though she has many credentials (LCSW-S, CDWF consultant, EMDR trained, EFFT certified), she is most proud of her work supporting families and children. She has worked with kids in the foster system and as a school social worker, and now in her own practice. Barksdale worked withBrene Brown to develop Bold, her curriculum for adolescents, and was one of twenty national trainers in her The Daring Way Certification. She lives in Austin, Texas.
