Join this new mom as she embraces the joy and responsibility of new motherhood, while dreaming of raising her brown baby boy to be confident, decisive, imaginative and impactful in his own way. She hopes her son will grow to know and believe that no matter what experiences and obstacles he encounters in his life, he is and will be equipped to overcome them.
Cadiesha has always had a passion for helping others, which inspired her to earn her Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health Degrees from Spelman College and Georgia State University, respectively. From an early age, she developed a love for children, but could never have imagined how becoming a mother would brighten her world. The love she has for her infant son inspired her to write The Brown Boy Who Made Me a Mom. Cadiesha is a transplant of Kingston, Jamaica and now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and son.Javaria is an African American Art Specialist with my years of experience, some of which include, book illustrations, and character design.
