Description

The Danish Way of Parenting has changed the lives of millions of parents. The book's PARENT model (Play, Authenticity, Reframing, Empathy, No Ultimatums and Togetherness and Hygge) has become a well-established framework, taught in universities, cited in numerous academic papers, and - most importantly - used as a trusted resource for parents around the globe. It has also captured an audience of grandparents, teachers, people working with children and non-parents alike.

The Danish Way Everyday takes the PARENT model one step further by providing practical, real-world ways to integrate this framework into your daily family life. Suitable for parents of children of all ages (from toddlers to teenagers), it is a way of re-framing how we see everyday activities, routines and chores, and how we ideally want to be and feel with our children, not just what we want to do.

The book will be divided into four sections - Everyday Activities, Routines, Chores and Fun - and will explore how the PARENT approach can be used in all sorts of everyday situations, whether you're taking your children shopping, trying to create a better bedtime routine, negotiating screen time or making the most of a walk through the forest.
