Dr. Rebecca Siegel is a licensed prescriber of medical marijuana in New York State, is a psychiatrist on staff with Amen clinics. Dr. Siegel specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD with a special focus on issues confronting adolescents and young adult women. She also has a particular interest in research on the therapeutic effects, risks, and benefits of cannabis treatment. Dr. Siegel believes in treating the whole person with a range of therapeutic techniques and approaches. A graduate of Duke University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Siegel did her Residency in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association as well as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Siegel is certified as a Diplomate by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In 2004, Dr. Siegel was selected to win the Women in Psychiatry award from the Mount Sinai Department of Psychiatry.
