It's no secret that being a mother may be the most difficult "job" you will ever work at.

This journey of motherhood has a way of taking a turn at times that can become an all consuming cycle of pain and regrets if we allow it.

I've been there. I understand the shock, the confusion, the anger and the moments you can't breathe.

But because of the grace of Jesus, I have also experienced the moment when air was allowed back into my lungs and my thoughts became more clear.

My prayer, as you walk through my story and then the added stories of eight different mothers, is that you, my friend, may experience life giving peace that floods your lungs with oxygen and your spirit with hope.

Author Bio

Deanna Gott lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana with her husband, Tony. She is a mother to three adult children along with being "Nana" to three grandchildren.
Being a mother and grandmother are her greatest joys and accomplishments in life.
Her walk with Jesus is what has gotten her through the hard times in this life and that same walk is what gives her joy in the middle of life's storms.
Her favorite pastimes are reading and writing with a steaming cup of hot coffee beside her.
