Hello there - I'm Kimberly. I was born and raised in East St. Louis, IL and relocated to Denver, CO with my boyfriend, Bryan, and our dog, Ozzie. I once owned my own cupcake business, Graffiti Cupcakes; a dream of mine that I at first felt was too big for me and so far out of reach, but I did it with a little encouragement from people in my corner. After closing the cupcake chapter, I decided it was time to conquer my next dream - writing my own children's book that would apply to kids of all ages. I remember reading fairy tales about a princess being saved or how a magic bean saved the day and I was excited to see that somewhere out there dreams come true. I wanted to write something that would motivate children to put their best foot forward and fight for their dreams.The idea of But I'm Too Little was born after I overheard a little girl say she was too little to do something that was in her reach. It reminded me of the children I've nannied over the years. They would sometimes feel too small to do certain things and I would always be right there to motivate them, give them a helping hand and a small push to overcome their fear. I hope that after hearing Kai's story of overcoming fears and obstacles, you will realize that your dreams are never too big.
