Author Bio

Charles Roger Hargreaves was an English author and illustrator of children's books, best remembered for the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, intended for very young readers. Arthur Lowe was an English actor. His career spanned over thirty years and he starred in numerous theatre and television productions. It wasn't until his performance as Leonard Swindley in Coronation Street that he became a household name. He is best known for playing Captain George Mainwaring in the popular British sitcom Dad's Army from 1968 until 1977. He was nominated for 7 BAFTAs throughout his distinguished career and became one of the most recognisable faces on TV.
