Everett, a lonely boy growing up in 1952, discovers a mysterious jackalope at his birthday party. The creature leads him on an exploration of the natural world and to worlds beyond his imagination in pursuit of the impossible to catch horned rabbit. Along the way Everett learns about friendship when he meets Lucy Hayworth, a girl who has also spent her life searching for the impossible.
Ben Tobin is a filmmaker, photographer, and special education teacher. Ben also works as an advocate for children with dyslexia. While new to the world of children's literature, Ben grew up surrounded by amazing picture book authors and illustrators and this fostered a long-held desire to create one of his own.
Olga Volgina was born in 1989 in the city of St.Petersburg, and she graduated from the Repin Academy of Arts. Olga is a member of the German watercolor community and the world community of illustrators. A frequent participant in international exhibitions, Olga's art is also currently featured in private collections around the world. She has successfully illustrated several book projects, both for private authors and for major publishing houses.
Olga is a master of watercolor, with a unique style that emphasizes beauty and spirituality.
