Alex DeLavoie was born in Packington, Canada. She has a magnetic personality. She is well-known for bringing expression and movement to the Naive style of art with a simple comma for the eyes and mouth ( you can see this in Mrs. Drake's face). Her Naive style Lollypop is copyrighted in public libraries in Canada. Alex has been the subject of a report about art on Radio-canada TV. She is an artist-painter, a storyteller and a comedian. She has brought Mrs. Drake and the Ducks to life with her beautiful, imaginative work.
