Author Bio

Dianne grew up in and around New York City. Most of this novelized biography is the story of her scandalous father, and of her difficult childhood given that her parents divorced at a time when such a thing was considered nothing short of shameful.

Dianne holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Hunter College in Manhattan, as well as a degree in Interior Design from Parson's School of Design. Twice during her twenty-three years teaching at Gompers Vocational High School she was awarded Teacher of the Year of the Bronx. She helped to create the Village of Chestnut Ridge in Rockland County, New York, and sat on its Planning Board for six years.

Over the decades Dianne has written many poems, essays and stories. Her play "A night at the Strand" was a winner in New Jersey State Competition. She lives now in Florida with her husband of many years. She is exceptionally proud of her three granddaughters, Laura, Lexi and Ella.
