We live in very unsettling times, one in which children are separated from their loved ones due to divorce, illness, accidents, job relocations and more. These can be short-term or permanent separations, bringing stress and sadness into the lives of children. Magic BubblesRoger Gardocki's first children's bookwas specifically written to help reduce or alleviate the stress and/or sadness brought about by unfortunate events or just everyday living. Parents, grandparents, relatives, teachers, and friends can help by sharing this book and a bottle of soap bubbles to comfort a child in need.
Roger Gardocki is a graduate of Emory University. He spent 20 years as a writer in the corporate world and 21 years as a teacher in college and public schools where he developed a highly successful three-step process to make writing easier and more effective for his students. He also spent 40 years raising three children and teaching them to love books. He actually experienced events similar those in this book while on a retreat in Maine, so he knows that this activity has been effective. He wants to share his own experience with children to help them achieve happier lives.
