The phrase 'Best of Life,' might be described as the hopeful joy and satisfaction that is achieved from doing the best you can, with what you have, in the time that you've been given. Notice that 'wealth or health' is not a requirement! Some of us do not "have" as much as others. Some don't have a lot of "time" either. However, "the best you can" refers to our 'personal challenges, as well as our desire to be happy and victorious with life, in spite of our situation. Everyone is different. Everyone can achieve the 'Best of Life.' But not everyone has the passion to make it happen. Know that the world is filled with people just like us who struggle to make life the best it can be. We are certainly among friends.

The Best of Life' is a series of 53 verse stories that are intended to take a look at life from many perspectives. Each opens the door to the human situation in a specific way and with a particular theme. Topics touch upon our past and future, love, aging, working, parenting, family and friends. Other stories include the essentials of our personal well-being such as faith, hope, empathy and charity. You might even discover our place in the universe. Every story is thought provoking and evocative. Likewise each is different . . . just like those who attempt to do the best they can, with what they have, in the time God has given them. In other words . . . those who seek and achieve 'The Best of Life.'

Author Bio

Bob Sulier is a native of Northwest Ohio and has earned degrees in English and Science. He and his wife Mary have been happily married for over 50 years, His family includes 3 amazing sons and 6 grandchildren. Bob is now retired and enjoying his many hobbies which include writing, boating, pickleball, as well as church and charitable related activities. Previously, he served as the Pres./CEO of his own manufacturing business. His verse writing spans over 50 years. With over 100 works, he has been encouraged to share via publication. Other books include a two volume series for ages 8-12 entitled "10 Tales to Talk About." That's 20 verse stories that parents can use to stimulate smart conversations with young ones. This most recent volume, "The Best of Life" includes 53 verse titles for 'grown-ups' that take a look at life from many perspectives with topics that touch upon past and future, love, aging, working, parenting, family and friends.
