Author Bio

Rosalyn Morgan was born and raised in Washington, DC and is the author of Laughing to Keep from Crying, This Alzheimer's Thing is No Joke which delves into what she and her family went through as they took care of her mother who had the Alzheimer's disease. Her book was turned into a play, Laughing InSpite Of which has performed at several venues and received great reviews.
She is one of leaders of the Dementia Friendly America, Mid-County in Prince George's County, Maryland and is a facilitator for Powerful Tools for Caregivers class which teaches caregivers about self-care. Rosalyn is an advocate committed to bringing awareness about and finding a cure for the Alzheimer's disease and dementia. She continues to support caregivers navigate through the struggles they faced during the caregiving journey.
