The life and times of Syrian immigrant Joe Solomon at the beginning of the 20th century. His multiple brushes with the law. The long and successful lives of his 12 children and their immersion in the culture of those days. An historic memoire that all nationalities in this great "melting pot" can relate to.
Though he has written, told and retold stories all of his life, this is Samuel J. Davis's first book. He is an attorney living and practicing law in Southwestern Pennsylvania. He and his wife Regina, a writer and educator, are the parents of two daughters. Courtney is a communications executive who lives and works in Pleasantville, New York with her husband Brian Walker, a sports marketing executive and their two sons Nathan Solomon and Samuel Joel. Meredith is an actor, educator, child and animal rights activist who resides in New York City.
