Dr. Dan Wolfson, clinical psychologist and grief specialist

Madeleine Garners Your Baby Will Find You says in 750 words what we as a society have denied our hopeful parents for millennia . . . Who knew a long form poem (gorgeously illustrated by Giorgia Lupi) would make concrete what so many of us seek: affirmation that our experience as parents-who-have-not-yet 'been found' is a real, full, and valid one.
Alexandra Silber, author of White Hot Grief Parade

Madeleine Gardners beautiful book peels back the layers of our relationships to our bodies and our beings. She lays bare the complex truths of who we hope to be and helps us make peace with who we have actually become, holding the many aspects of humanity together in one short story.

When I first read Your Baby Will Find You I knew it would become a companion, a colleague even, in my work as a midwife. This book is a balm, from somebody who had the recipe because she needed it too . . . My hope is that well loved copies of it are read and shared, that it will become as synonymous with 'I love you as a bowl of homemade soupsimple, comforting, perfect.'"
Emily Moonbeam Varnam, midwife and doula

In the field of perinatal mental health, loss is often not given the weight and focus it deserves. Expectations of the grieving parents and those around them (both personal and professional) are to let go, move on, and be grateful for what they haveall fine goals, but healing is neither simple nor linear. Thank you for this absolutely beautiful, genuine, and unique resource that will speak to our clients.
Shoshana S. Bennett, PhD, perinatal mental health psychologist

If you have experienced pregnancy loss, youre not alone. This book aims to show the world that pregnancy loss is not a taboo topic. Though you will never forget your baby, you can manage your grief and heal. If youre looking to become a parent, one day your baby will find you.
Elaine Keller-Duemig, certified nurse-midwife at Central Park Midwifery
