Mariem Sanoe's story begins in Ganta United Methodist Hospital during the Liberian Civil War, a time she was too young to remember but whose impact was shared with her through her late mother's powerful storytelling, shaping the resilient individual she is today. Raised in Ivory Coast until the age of nine, Mariem, alongside her late mother and some of her siblings, embarked on a life-changing journey to the United States. Her story is more than unique-it's a testament to unwavering strength and determination to thrive in a new culture while overcoming personal and societal challenges.
Growing up in vibrant Queens, New York, Mariem faced a personal battlefield-struggling to belong while striving for academic success. Adversity became her steppingstone as she navigated bullying, language barriers, and cultural adjustments during elementary school. Her perseverance continued through college, where she conquered challenges with ESL and test-taking hurdles, showcasing her relentless determination to succeed.
Mariem's transformative journey highlights the power of education, mentorship, and resilience. Facing language barriers upon her arrival in the U.S., she drew strength from her late mother's wisdom-lessons she carries with her to this day.
During high school, Mariem discovered her identity through writing, sports, and extracurricular activities, later finding her voice through motivational speaking and empowering others. This passion for personal growth and community impact led her to establish Let US Talk About It, Coaching. LLC, a company dedicated to empowering youth and families through mentorship, culturally sensitive leadership programs, and personal development.
As a Youth and Family Empowerment Coach, motivational speaker, and author, Mariem's mission is to inspire, uplift, and create lasting change. Armed with a degree from Rutgers University, certifications from Cornell University, and currently pursuing her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University, she combines academic expertise with personal experience to offer transformative growth opportunities.
Through Let US Talk About It, Coaching. LLC, Mariem has developed tailored programs for youth and families who feel invisible in society-particularly those in school settings and the juvenile justice system. She also works with second-generation immigrants facing adversity, discrimination, and cultural identity challenges.
Mariem's company was founded on the belief that learning is a universal opportunity Where Potential Meets Possibility!
