Author Bio

Danielle Speaks Lewis was born and raised in the Baltimore metropolitan area. She is the wife to Emmanuel Lewis, Sr., and the mother to one son, Emmanuel Lewis, Jr. She is a graduate of Coppin State University (2005) and Towson University (2007). Since 2006, Danielle has worked in the field of Information Technology for a leading global delivery and supply chain management solutions company.

Although she would choose technology as her career path, Danielle has always been a writer. Since a girl, she would write short stories and poetry. As a college student, she served as Managing Editor of her college's newspaper. Additionally, she would assume the duty of staff writer for a then up and coming magazine, focused on HipHop culture. Today, Danielle is a free-lance visual artist, with a budding passion for graphic design.
