This is a true story based on the life events of my Fathers experience with his own father as a quadriplegic. My father never knew his father walking, he was only 9 months old at the time of the accident. I was told of my grandfathers amazing ability to accept his situation and inspire and motivate others. He still lived his life to the fullest with no regrets and a big smile on his face- and still is to this day.

My name is Alexis Ciara Garcia, I arrived on this planet on the 9th of February 1995, in Passaic New Jersey. I have an amazing family, my Father Alexander and my mother Claire raised me in Bergen County along with my sister Alexandria. Throughout my life I have noticed and experienced an enormous amount of strength. Not just physical but mental as well, because of life changing events that happened to the ones closest to me. I wrote this book to encourage, inspire, and motivate anyone over coming an obstacle they think they can't live with. Here's living proof that you can still be a participant in life and be truly happy no matter what.
