Reviews

"A must-have intelligent guide that goes beyond simple spellwork, highlighting the importance of patience, context, and the interconnectedness of living magickally. Tony's captivating storytelling and practical wisdom provide a transformative approach to magick, urging readers to embrace their own power and live with purpose...What makes Slow Magic truly special is its focus on the connections between people, communities, and the environment. This book inspires and empowers you to embrace life's beautiful complexities."
Mat Auryn, international bestselling author of Psychic Witch

"With so many introductory books in print, a common question among readers of magical works is 'where can I go from here' Slow Magic by Anthony Rella wonderfully answers this question. Packed with insight and expertise from Anthony's many years as a witch and therapist, alongside potent exercises and opportunities for reflection and growth, this book is an invaluable addition to the library of any magical practitioner."
Durgadas Allon Duriel, author of The Little Work

"While many magical books show us how to perform quick and easy magic, Anthony Rella's Slow Magic shows us how to take a moment to express the deeper power within our heart. Rella shows us how mindfulness and being deliberate in our spirituality helps us manifest magic that connects us with the universe and each other for a fulfilling, magical life."
Chris Allaun, author of Whispers from the Coven

"There are two kinds of magic that can be worked in the world. That which is first desired has as its aim a fast resolution to the desired outcome; this is much like flooding a garden after a drought. The plants will drink their fill, and some of them even may thrive. A master gardener may choose to introduce a trickle of water, over a long period of time, in order to make the entire garden healthier and ensure an abundant yield for a long while. The latter is akin to slow magic. It requires patience, and perspective, and vision to take the slower path, but the reader who picks up this book and works through it will come to understand its vast power. Of that, I have no doubt."
Terence P. Ward, author of Empty Cauldrons

"A stellar and serious work. It is elegant in its simplicity and grounded in its complexity...Anthony Rella opens us to a profoundly beautiful and workable web of themes, processes, stories, and questions that ennoble the spirit and embolden the heart. Slow Magic is a blessing in the form of a book that I hope provokes, invites, and delights readers for years to come, into the deep and rich magic that spirals through time and space."
Fio Gede Parma, author of The Witch Belongs to the World

"Drawing from modern psychology and ancient spirituality, Slow Magic is a vital antidote to a culture obsessed with quick fixes. Anthony Rella offers creative spells and rituals, solid magical theory, and heart-wise meditations on what it means to journey toward your deepest, fullest self."
Asa West, author of Witch Blood Rising

"Magic is the work of a lifetime. So much magical study is focused on what the individual needs in the moment that it can be easy to forget this lifetime work and our relationship with the cosmos over time. Slow Magic is like an explorer's guide for a long journey, accompanying your way through the intricate landscapes of your inner self and the phases of your life."
David Salisbury, author of The Deep Heart of Witchcraft
