Richard Wagamese(19552017), an Ojibway from the Wabaseemoong First Nation in northwestern Ontario, is recognized as one of Canadas foremost authors and storytellers. He authored seventeen books including the national bestsellersIndian Horse(2012) andEmbers: One Ojibways Meditations(2016).
