Author Bio

Joe Benric a small business owner, father of four, happily married guy born in Queens, NY and raised in the suburbs of Long Island. Fascinated by all the skills a person needs to thrive in the "real world" and curious as to why those things were not taught in school authored Graduation Gift for his own kids as a somewhat humors introduction to these topics. Through a wide variety of personal and work experiences including being a brick cleaner, a laborer, tugboat worker, a cook, livery cab driver, boat launch driver, ditch digger, wire puller, sheetrock installer, ship simulator operator, navigator on a fast ferry, secretary, construction foreman, general contractor, property manager, author, book publisher, scout leader and father the author tries to share his practical knowledge. Joe can usually be found spending time with his family out in nature or in his garage tinkering with something, always looking for a better way. "Graduation Gift" is Mr. Benric's first book.
