The idea of setting intentions, good vibes only and manifestation have permeated popular culture through evangelists like Oprah Winfrey and Jim Carrey. Even Taylor Swift satirized the idea on an appearance on Stephen Colbert in 2021. Year after year, people post the same images - a happy couple, a new car and meme-able quotes without being able to operationalize those dreams and goals. The vision boards are then shoved under the bed until it's time to ring in a brand new year.
Intend + Align + Manifest is a framework that helps us to close the gap between our dreams and our reality by embedding the action that is required to change our lives into our day-to-day mental, emotional, physical and spiritual activities. We move from perception (the vision) to expression (the manifestation). Through setting intentions - our desired outcomes, getting aligned through our actions and behavior - we manifest.
As a high school teacher I was able to get thousands of teenagers over a 12 year period to understand and love Shakespeare and other classic literature, I've mastered the art of simplifying the complex. As a survivor of childhood trauma, my entire life has been experimenting with an mastering this framework of intending, aligning and manifesting to the tune of writing a "life goals" list at 16 years old that manifested, earning fellowships and other awards and honors resulting in subsidized travel to Senegal, South Africa, India, England, fully-funding my undergraduate career by applying for over 100 scholarships, co-founding and leading a celebrity non-profit organization, and so on. I started teaching vision boards a decade ago after being asked to share my annual process for creating vision boards and setting intentions and have even facilitated these workshops for corporations including AARP and Molina Healthcare. My students have reported new relationships, increased salaries, healthier marriages, international travel and countless other experiences and changes they've been able to manifest. Every year, my former students refer their bestfriends, co-workers, spouses, etc. to sign-up for my class. This framework changes people's lives and in changing lives it is now ready to change the world.
