Description

We all have strengths and weaknesses. What if we could take a weakness and flip it to a strengthor vice versa For example, a person with a talent for humor could use it as a great ice-breaker, and to gently break down personal barriers. But used incorrectly, humor can hurt feelings and cause new barriers to go up. Career and Life: Genesis for Change explores the lives of the 12 Biblical patriarchs and compares them to modern business examples to determine if the ability to flip between strengths and weaknesses is innate, or a more modern development.

There's no doubt that many books have been written on the subjects of career and life change. Career and Life: Genesis for Change is different because it refrains from comparing the reader to successful people with high-level careers and instead encourages the reader to answer questions that expose their emotions and values, and underlying talentsaspects that might be ignored or even hidden while looking for work, but which can help a person discover what they really want to do. And once this desire is unearthed, abilities are realized and opportunities for success are unlimited.

What happens when your best abilities are improperly used and you flip from strength to weakness The line is thin. Inspiration for Career and Life: Genesis for change tries to help you find that line before you cross it. It helps to show you who you are and can be.

Author Bio

John Tarochione is an employment and career advisor, with a Masters in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University. He worked for 12 years as an employment program representative for the State of California, presenting workshops on job seeking, job change, and resume writing while working on his thesis. It was while he did this that he realized how often people made career decisions that didn't jibe with their talents, priorities or values--decisions that landed them in an office, wondering what went wrong.

Awareness of his own personal and spiritual values helped him become successful by allowing him to pick a compatible occupation that he could enjoy. With the knowledge that experience, study and attitude can inspire a new way of thinking and being, he took out his old thesis and kept on writing. Career and Life: Genesis for Change is the result.
