This book is about how Richard Bassoff used his 50/50 rule to build two successful service businesses and later sold them to publicly traded Wall Street companies.
He shared many stories-some funny, some sad, some strange and some he wouldn't believe if he didn't experience them himself.
The chapters include many parts of the business and the jobs that come with it. They include the following.
The customer service representative, the customers first point of contact with the business.
Dispatcher's and controlling the dispatch board.
Service tech's and how they need to know their trade.
The service manager and his job keeping track of the service techs.
The office manager and her job watching over the office.
The bookkeeper and her job watching the numbers.
He talks about advertising and keeping the phone ringing.
Reviews and how to respond to both good and bad ones.
Safety and how to keep it on your employees mind all the time.
And he talks about investing for the future, and the importance of it.
Each chapter ends with a 50/50 tip you should find useful.
