Author Bio

Tom Lewis is an award-winning businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1991, T.W. Lewis Company built over 5,000 homes in metro Phoenix and is best known for its outstanding quality and customer service in the homebuilding industry. Among its numerous industry awards are the Americas Best Builder Award in 1998 and the National Housing Quality Gold Award in 2009. In 2013, Tom received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Professional Builder magazine and the National Housing Quality Award Committee and was named the first inductee into the National Housing Quality Hall of Fame.

In 2000, Tom and his wife, Jan, formed T.W. Lewis Foundation, which supports higher education, children and families in need, Christian education, and a variety of national nonprofits that strengthen America. T.W. Lewis Foundation has provided over two hundred college scholarships to outstanding students to attend some of Americas best universities. In 2015, Tom and Jan founded the Lewis Honors College at the University of Kentucky.
