Description

What does it mean How do you say it Why does it relate to me
Simply put, InnSaei (pronounced 'in-sy-eh') is the Icelandic word for intuition. It means the sea within (the flow of our unconscious mind), to see within (how we introspect), and to see from the inside out (how we navigate the world). InnSaei exists within all of us.
We live in a world dominated by an overload of information, workplace burnout, big changes and the continuing effects of climate change. It's easy to feel lost, disconnected or without a purpose. If you relate to these feelings, then learning about InnSaei is the first step to reconnecting with yourself and the environment.
Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir explains how aligning with the sea within will help you to make more informed decisions and welcome creativity and wonder back into your life; learning to see within will improve your self-awareness, empathy and tolerance; and seeing from the inside out will empower you to make change around you and live a more fulfilled life.
With a mix of expert knowledge, practical exercises and some of the author's personal experiences, join Hrund as she takes us on a journey to harness our InnSaei so we may transform our lives and re-establish our place in the world.

Author Bio

Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir is a sustainability leader, visionary, writer and a film maker, educated in anthropology, development and complex emergencies and executive leadership. She has been recognised for her work as a Yale World Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a World Economic Forum Cultural Leader. She was a director of Festa, a centre for sustainability in Iceland and now works closely with an organisation called New Constellations. She sits on the Advisory Council of the newly founded International Leadership Centre at Yale University and is a board member of Eyrir Invest. She has an extensive global experience in development work and post-conflict reconstruction, innovation, social entrepreneurship and the arts. She has qualifications from Yale, Stanford, Harvard Kennedy School, the LSE, Oxford Business School and the University of Iceland.

Her documentary film InnSaei - the Sea Within (in North America entitled The Power of Intuition) in itself was a successful visionary and leadership project. In her thirties, with no experience of documentary film making, she wanted to reach as many people as possible who would start to talk about the world within for the first time, or in a fresh way. She and her small team managed to mobilize the support and create the momentum for it to become a reality and shown worldwide on Netflix and other streaming services.
