Description

For a comfortable retirement you need three things: property, superannuation and your own portfolio of shares. Then there's the ultimate investment - your health. How to balance these is a lifelong journey requiring passion, courage and wisdom. It's the Yellow Brick Road to your financial security . . .'

In 2004, the founder and chairman of Wizard Home Loans, Mark Bouris, sold his stake to the world's largest corporation, GE. Overnight he became a wealthy man, but like many baby boomers, Bouris had no expertise in planning a retirement strategy. In his search for the best approach Bouris sought assistance from some of Australia's top investment experts.

The Yellow Brick Road to Your Financial Security explains what he learned in language we can all understand. Find out:

* what the experts know

* what the jargon means

* how to take charge of your retirement plans and why you need to start acting now

* how much you need for retirement and what your own risk profile looks like

* how to create a system to build your own investment portfolio

* why the ultimate investment - your own health and wellbeing - is the vital missing piece.
