Author Bio

Serene Allison and Pearl Barrett are sisters who share the passion of healthy mothering. They both have large boisterous families and love to experiment in the kitchen on ways to best nourish their families and stay slim and healthy in the process. Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, they have been entertaining thousands of people since they were just children with their musical talent and sincere charm. Since moving to the US, Serene and Pearl have been successful recording artists, songwriters, speakers mothers and wives. Now they are authors of the best-selling book "Trim Healthy Mama", and owners of their own publishing company, Welby Street Press. Their mother Nancy Campbell, mother of nine herself and grandmother of over 40 grandchildren, dedicates her life to strengthening and encouraging the mothers of the world. She speaks at weekend retreats and seminars for women and also publishes a magazine to encourage wives, mothers, and homemakers. This magazine goes all over the world and has been in circulation for 37 years. Meadow Barrett, Pearl's daughter and Nancy's grand-daughter is also a singer and writer.
