There seems to be a healing and spiritual aspect to journaling.
Studies have found that writing in a journal can lead to better sleep, a stronger immune system, more self-confidence, and a higher I.Q. Research out of New Zealand suggests that the practice may even help wounds heal faster. How is this possible James W. Pennebaker, a social psychologist at the University of Texas at Austin who is considered the pioneer of writing therapy, said there isn't one answer. Something to do with being the unconscious to the conscious.
This outline is called "Balanced Journaling" because there is a central focus on the aspect of both introspecting and effective communication. You could also describe this as bullet journaling, but I don't really like how that sounds. Anyhow, if you would like to expand and change the format to sentences, then please feel free to adjust as needed. You can't make a mistake here, this is your expression, I am simply the messenger.
