Keeping my shit together journal is a journal dedicated too and create for black women. It is designed to be culturally engaging and emotionally and psychologically challenging. It provides a space that welcomes the expression of joy, peace, frustration, anger, happiness, sadness, anxiousness, uncertainty and more. It provides prompts to challenge the journaler to explore themselves in a different way that includes prompts that explore previous relationships, self-esteem, self-worth, goals and needs/wants. KMST allows the journaler the space to just be and not have all the answers but have support in figuring it out. It provides inspirational quotes and messages of encouragement. This journal is the journalers journal. This journal is more than a journal but a self-exploration keep sake.
Sharde' O'Rourke, LPC, LMFT, LSATP, CCTP, SAP is a published author and speaker. For over ten years, she has been practicing as a licensed therapist specializing in working with black folks, the LGTBQ+ community, addiction and couples/relationships. She is the owner of The Mahogany Projek, LLC, a group counseling and consulting practice, and is known as The Barefoot Therapist. She owns and operates an online self-help school, focusing on self-discovery, self-exploration and productive life skills. Sharde' holds a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Over the years, Sharde' has supported numerous individuals on their journey of growth, exploration and self-investment. She offers folks a safe environment to explore who they are, what they want to achieve, challenge their fears, and optimized their best attributes. Having consulted widely with both individuals and companies on the areas of mental health and wellness, Sharde' takes a creative approach to consultancy and offers custom varying services and courses for the maximum benefit of a client in a wide variety of settings. She has completed various trainings and workshops for schools, hospitals, private companies and groups on topics such as diversity, equity and inclusion, personal growth, forgiveness, relationship health and reconciliation, professional development, boundaries and wellness skills.
