Description

Based upon Shauna Shapiro's popular Good Morning, I Love You book, The Good Morning, I Love You journal is designed to help you re-architect the structure of your brain for greater joy and peace. This journal is built on principles of psychology and neuroscience and combines two simple, yet effective daily practices-one in the morning and one in the evening-as well as a powerful weekly science-based meditative practice (aka a deep-dive) to support your emotional health and wellbeing. Research shows that journaling has powerful benefits from enhancing your immune system and reducing stress to boosting your memory and inspiring creativity. Research also shows that your mood in the morning and evening are the best predictors of your overall health and longevity. During the first few minutes after waking, when the mind is still and receptive, we can use the practices Shapiro provides to start shaping our brain for the good and building our inner resources for the day. Similarly, when we engage in practice just before going to bed-in particular gratitude practice-we not only stimulate the part of the brain associated with dopamine, we can also skillfully let go of the stress of the day and shift into sleep. The journal features a beautiful, spacious interior design and offers a three-month journey based upon weekly themes, such as mindfulness, acceptance, forgiveness, resilience, connection, and joy.
