Author Bio

Carlana Stone Lawson has been an on-camera television reporter for the ABC affiliate in Miami, and is now a highly successful television producer. She is also a weekly featured speaker at ACTION, a southern California-based teen and parent support program and a regular guest on the California radio show "Families in Action." She heads the L.A. School District Job Club for at-risk youth ages fifteen to twenty-one. She speaks regularly at programs for young adults and adults with spinal cord injuries. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
