Mindful meditations and delicious recipes that will encourage you to take control of your eating habits and really enjoy your food.
Mindless eating is a modern-day malady. In todays hectic world, we reach for unhealthy snacks for a quick energy boost, we dont take proper lunch breaks and we are constantly distracted while we eat. The enjoyment of eating is lost as a result. Mindful eating offers a new, positive way forward. By applying the principles of mindfulness, an ancient Buddhist practice, to our everyday eating habits we can make simple changes to our diet and learn how to appreciate and savour food. Rachel Bartholomew and Mandy Pearson demonstrate how easy-to-follow mindfulness meditations, inspiring stories from people who have benefited from mindful eating, and delicious recipes can set you on the path to a new and healthier way of eating.
