Description

The 2 million-copy bestselling cult feminist classic 'Everyone should read this book' Maya Angelou 'Estes points to storytelling, our ancient narratives, as a way for women to reconnect to the Wild Woman all women have within themselves, but have lost' Emma Watson Go out in the woods, go out. If you don't go out in the woods nothing will ever happen and your life will never begin. Within every woman, there lies a powerful force of energy, creativity and self-knowing- their wild woman. For centuries, she has been repressed by a male-orientated value system that trivialises her emotions. Until now. With a combination of time-honoured stories, myths, fairy tales and casework, this is the feminist classic loved by over 2 million women, that will set you on a beautiful path to unleash your inner wild.

Reviews

The work shows the reader how glorious it is to be daring, to be caring and to be women. Everyone who can read should read this book. -- Maya Angelou
In a modern world that limits wisdom to 'facts' and women's access even to those, Dr Ests has restored the fire - for us all. -- Gloria Steinem
This volume reminds us that we are nature for all our sophistication, that we are still wild, and the recovery of that vitality will itself set us right in the world -- Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul
A life-enhancing way to make contact with our deep feminine instincts: the wild woman within * Irish Times *
All women should read this. In fact, mothers should pass the knowledge contained in these pages down to their daughters as they turn 16. It's insightful and inspirational and gets you back in touch with your authentic self. -- June Sarpong
