Glynnis M. Cropp is a professor emeritus of French and honorary research fellow at Massey University.

Noel R. Watts is an honorary research fellow at Massey University.

Roger D. J. Collins is an honorary research fellow at the University of Otago. He is the author of Charles Meryon: A Life and New Zealand Seen by the French, 17691846.

K. R. Howe is a professor of history at Massey University. He is the author of The Quest for Origins: Who First Discovered and Settled New Zealand and the Pacific Islands
