Description

A thorough look at the Wehrmacht's SdKfz 221, 222, 223, 260, and 261 four wheeled armoured cars are represented in 152 pages with over 200 b/w photos & 119 colour photographs. The Sd.Kfz. 223, 260, and 261 series vehicles are illustrated with colour sideviews br Uwe Feist; the "Dean" of military vehicle artists. Equipped with four wheels rather than tracks, these cars were used primarily for reconnaissance by panzer divisions. The colour photos follow along the restoration of a Sd. Kfz 222 from the private collection of Jacques Littlefield. The images cover almost every part of the car and the car in use in the various theatres of war during the Second World War.
