Author Bio

ROBERT E. DENTON, JR., holds the W. Thomas Rice Chair of Leadership Studies and serves as Director of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Center for Leadership Development at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In addition to numerous articles, essays, and book chapters, he is author, co-author or editor of 13 books. The most recent title is Political Communication Ethics: An Oxymoron (Praeger, 2000). RACHEL L. HOLLOWAY is Associate Professor of Communications Studies at Virginia Tech. She is the author of In the Matter of J. Robert Oppenheimer: Politics, Rhetoric, and Self-Defense (Praeger, 1993) and co-editor of The Clinton Presidency: Images, Issues, and Communication Strategies (Praeger, 1996).
