In celebration of the centennial anniversary of Nevada's Pershing County, in a fine hardbound edition with dust jacket, locals Klos, Davidson, Tors, and Quilici supply the county's histories, little known and of great importance to the state of Nevada and the whole American west, through narrative, photography, and watercolor painting.
I have visited Lovelock since I was a little boy and when I was a child, I always enjoyed stopping at the Two Stiffs gas station for a treat. From exploring the Lovelock Cave to playing the mighty Mustangs in basketball, Pershing County has always been a place of adventure for me. To this day, the county remains an incredible agricultural, cultural and recreational destination where residents cherish the Nevada way of life and invite visitors to do the same. My thanks to Pat Ferraro Klos, Deanne Davidson, Lynda Quilici, and Jane Fundis Tors for capturing the essence of Pershing County! - Governor Brian Sandoval

Every Nevadan will benefit from this book." - Guy Clifton, author of You Know You're a Nevadan, if...
