Mr. Murray, Professor Emeritus of History at the Pennsylvania State University, received his doctorate from Ohio State University where he began his teaching career. At Penn State since 1949, he was also secretary of the Pennsylvania Historical Association and has contributed articles to several historical and scholarly journals.
