Dora Van is the Chairwoman of the Uinta Valley Shoshone Tribe. Through her leadership, the people have banded together and remained viable. She resides on the Uinta Valley Reservation, also known as the Uinta & Ouray Agency, in Utah.Is the Vice-Chairwoman of the Uinta Valley Shoshone Tribe. Without her long hours of research, this book would not be possible, she resides on the Uinta Valley Reservation (aka Uinta & Ouray Agency) in Utah.Has been a researcher for the Uinta Valley Shoshone Tribe for many years. His contribution and assistance in researching Spanish, Mexican and U.S. Military documents has been invaluable.
