Author Bio

Yousef Aljamal is the Gaza coordinator at the Palestine Activism Program at the American Friends Service Committee. Aljamal is a refugee from Al-Nusierat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip. He recently received his PhD at the Middle East Institute at Sakarya University in Turkey.

is treasurer of Viva Palestina Malaysia, a nongovernmental organization focused on raising awareness of the conflict in Palestine and providing relief to Palestinians, primarily in Gaza.

serves as the Communications Specialist for the American Friends Service Committee's Apartheid-free Communities initiative.
