Author Bio

Harold C. Deutsch was a professor of history at the University of Minnesota and a member of the civilian faculty of the National War College, Washington, D.C. He served as chief of the research and analysis branch of the Office of Strategic Services in Paris and Germany in 1944-45 and as a member of the U.S. State Departments Special Interrogation Mission in 1945.
