Description

Architect, artist and collector extraordinaire, Charles Paget Wade was a man in love with the past.
In 1919 he found the ideal canvas and muse for his eclectic interests at Snowshill Manor, a neglected and dilapidated old manor house in the English Cotswolds.
He devoted the rest of his life to restoring the house and bringing it to life by displaying a multitude of material items he had collected since a small child. But the house also had a non-material side which he enjoyed exposing through his passion for theatrics and disguise.
Using extensive historical research, the author has woven a story that combines known facts with a fictional narrative to reveal the paranormal history of Snowshill Manor.
The story follows the progress of supernatural sleuths Esme, Jay and Max, characters introduced in the first book in the series, Adventure at Chastleton House.
