This Welsh-English dictionary consists of 1500 words. In the Welsh-English section, a comprehensive system to help find mutated forms of words is introduced, and parts of speech and many plurals are included. While based on vocabulary used for teaching Welsh as a second language to 7-11 year olds, the range of words and the presentation of the material ensures that this dictionary should be a useful resource for a much wider age range as well as for some first-language situations.
Carol Williams has been an advisory teacher for Welsh second-language in the Torfaen area since 1992.
