Description

Language Arts is a textbook designed for middle school and high school students. Each unit contains progressively lessons which develop the grammar, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills of the student. The textbook is supplemented by an accompanying reading material carefully selected to to explore the topics discussed in each corresponding unit. The textbook also posits literature in a greater historical context providing the student with a positive framework for Islamic outlook and approach to literature in general.

Author Bio

Justin Poe currently teaches high school English at DarusSalam Seminary in Lombard, IL. He completed his Bachelor's of Arts in English Language and Literature at Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland. Thereafter, he enrolled in a traditional program for Islamic scholarship, graduating from DarusSalam Seminary in 2019. He strives to develop in his students an appreciation of the history of the English language, its beauty, and its literature.
