Author Bio

Sue Tyson-Ward has had a connection with Portugal since living with a Portuguese family prior to starting her studies at Oxford University in 1984. During her degree course, she also spent a year in Brazil, an experience which she has drawn on frequently over the years in her teaching and writing. Since graduating with a Degree in Portuguese and Spanish in 1988, she has also lived, worked and studied in Portugal, and continues to visit the country each year with her family, often travelling through remote regions by public transport.

She has written a number of books on Portuguese language, life and culture, as well as on living, working and buying property in Portugal.
