Bernard C Lamb is Emeritus Reader in Genetics at Imperial College London, and President of the Queen's English Society, a registered charity which, since it was founded in 1972, has become a recognized authority on 'proper' English.
He is the author of many books, including How to Write about Biology and English for Technology, and has featured regularly on television and radio shows such as the Today programme.
